Mark some far away object. Look at it for two minutes. Then look at some object closer to you. Again look at the far off object and again look at the nearer object after two minutes. Do this exercise for ten minutes.

Slowly raise your eyes skywards. Keep them stationary for about thirty seconds. Then again lower them until you can see your feet. Repeat the exercise fifteen times.

Waxing is the most useful method of removing unwanted hair, but it should be used only for removing hair from hand, arms and legs because by waxing, the skin on the face gets stretched resulting in appearance of wrinkles. The wax used is usually of 2 types,Cold wax and Hot wax . A cold wax is easily available in the market but is very costly. For homemade wax, take eight parts of sugar syrup, add to it one oar lemon juice,

one part mustard oil and two parts water. Brew it on medium heat for about fourty five minutes. When the Home made wax mixture turns brown in colour, remove it from the flame and add a little glycerin to it and then let it get cold and cold wax is prepared. Honey can also be used to make hot wax. For this take five spoonfuls of honey. Add one spoonful of lemon juice and heat it for thirty minutes on a
medium flame. Remove it from the heater and adding a little glycerin let it get cold.

The skin must be cleaned by a cleansing cream before waxing, you may use unheated milk in case cleansing cream is not available. A creamy milk should not be used because it further accentuates the growth of unwanted hair. Use a clean towel to wipe the skin and while spraying talcum powder massage it very gently. If the thick roots of hair cause pain, then use cold cream roots. Using a knife, apply the Hot wax on the skin towards the direction of the growth of hair. Use a thin cloth as bandage on it so that the cloth sticks to the skin. Now pull the cloth with a jerk in opposite direction of the roots of hair. The hair will stick to cloth and come out with the root. The container containing the wax should be kept in a utensil full of warm water so that the wax remains hot and melted during the process. Waxing should always be done in a air conditioned room or under a fan, other wise the wax will not stick to the hair due to sweat. Even cooler does not help as the moisture from it prevents proper waxing. Immediately after waxing, the skin should be lightly massaged with the lanolin cream or skin tonic. This will make the skin smooth and silky.

First of all, waxing is not for the faint-hearted. It will hurt. It will sting. You’ve got to prepare yourself for pain if you’re going this route. The wax strips are called cold since the wax isn’t prepared the same way like most waxing techniques. It can be used at room temperature. Easy to use. Just peel the strips off, apply on your skin then peel it off — removing the hair on your skin. Er, ideally.

Sadly, I’m not at all impressed with the wax strips. Apart from the painful process, hair removal isn’t 100% effective. Even when it’s economical since you can re-use the strip until desired result, having to do the task over and over isn’t what I call efficient. Using it on a small area as the bikini line, I believe that spending 30 minutes on this one task is too impractical.

Also, remember when it said that you can easily remove excess wax with just apply baby oil with cotton swabs on your skin? Well, I did that but there’s a red mark that’ll be left on the skin which won’t go away until a day or two. The area will have prickly skin (seemingly like gooseflesh), too. And if you pulled the strip in the wrong direction, there’s a possibility that you’ll wound yourself.

But to balance things out, after a couple days, my skin feels unbelievably smooth. I’m still not sure how long this will last. You know, before the hair grows back. I’ll make sure to let you guys know.

Anyway, if you decide to use it, make sure you schedule it a few days before you “show off” your skin.
