Sexual activities and the development of breasts is one of the first outward signs of transition from girlhood to womanhood. 

The breasts symbolize sexual attraction and are a means of nurturing children.

The desire for a certain size breast varies with fashion trends.  In the late 1920’s and 1960’s small breasts were in style, whereas from the late 1970’s on, larger breasts were fashionable. 

Now the trend is shifting again in Sexual focus.Women want to alter the shape and size of their breasts for many reasons and should tell their physician what they desire before embarking on surgical procedures. 

Physicians should clear up any misconceptions about the surgery and its effect o body image and ensure that there are no unrealistic expectations about what the surgery can do in Breast care.

Sexual focus and the reasons for a breast change play ion important role in whether or not the outcome will be satisfactory. 

It is unrealistic to expect a breast change to maintain or establish an interpersonal relationship, obtain a job promotion, save a marriage, or job promotion, save a marriage, or change a lover’s behavior.

SMALL BREASTS

Women whose breast posture and tone is poor, and whose nipples fall below the inframammary crease, require a breast lift before an enlargement can be done.
