Thai green coconut water recipe preparation-Recipe coconut water- Healthy Food
Coconut water recipe -6 cups green coconut water.
200 gm boneless chicken, shredded.
1 cup green coconut flesh, cut into slivers.
6 French beans, topped, tailed and diced.
½ cup shelled peas.
1/3 cup diced capsicum.
1 tsp ginger juice.
2 green chillis, chopped.
2 stalks lemon grass, chopped, white part only.
2 lime leaves, shredded.
1½ tbsp fish sauce or light soyabean sauce.
1 tsp sugar. Salt to taste.
Pinch monosodium glutamate.
1 tbsp cornflour,
A handful of fresh coriander, juice of 1 lime. |

Put the green coconut water, chicken, Coconut flesh and peas to boil.
Cover and cook over medium heat till the chicken is done.
Half way through, add the beans. When the chicken is cooked, Add ginger juice, green chillis, lemon grass, Lime leaves, fish sauce or soyabean sauce, sugar, salt and monosodium glutamate and capsicum.
Let cook for a couple of minutes.
In the meantime, mix the cornflour With ½ cup of water or green coconut water.
Boil till the soup thickens a little.
Remove and serve hot in individual bowls, Garnished with fresh coriander and lime juice.
Variation : Healthy Food Mushrooms may also be added. For another Vegetarian version, and paneer instead of chicken. |
