Some Baby Boomers many of them lawyers are refusing to take such a ‘bum rap’ but others argue that they are condemning us all to a more difficult life sentence. The British Centre for Policy on Ageing has made the point that the emphasis is on : Expections of ultra agers and keeping going as before, not retiring, not falling ill , maintaining a macho sex drive and other cavorting usually attributed to the healthy fledgling. The danger is that society will create another dogma, almost as dangerous as the conventional one that we are so anxious to correct.
