Fat reduce exercise and To immortality, Dr. Klatz and the A4M would say. To a healthy and contented old age, we would say, Neither of us has any desire to be immortal. But we would like to lead long, fit and fulfilling lives.

We’re not anti – ageing and, in fact, approve of the British Advertising, Standards Authority’s suggestion that anti – ageing remedies and clinics should not be advertised as such, but use the term ‘healthy ageing’ instead. That sounds better to us too in the Fat reduce exercise.

We hope that you will live as long as you want to, and be healthy and happy while you do, We know that time is precious, so we thank you for spending so much of yours sharing what has been a journey of exploration and learning for us, and will continue, we hope, to be an exciting voyage of discovery for our generation in the new millennium.

Fat reduce exercise and If you have stayed with us this far, or just dipped in and out of the book from time to time, we thank you. We hope it has been a journey of discovery for you as it has been for us. We have undergone some changes along the way.

I started out very gung – ho about HRT and ended feeling I’d rather get along on natural progesterone cream. Victoria began the book convinced that she would never entertain HRT and now suspects she would net tempted by some of the latest ‘natural’ combinations – should she feel the need, of course. She also said she’d rather die than try cosmetic surgery. Now she’s less sure about that!

Exercise benifits and Should you meet us please don’t discount our advice if you think we look our age or older. As we hope we’ve explained, we haven’t got things right in the past and have been bumbling along like most people, hoping for the best.

We trust, however, that if you meet us some time in the future, we’ll have taken more of our own suggestions on board and be even healthier (and more youthful in many ways) than

we are today. We are thrilled to learn that we can better ourselves and improve our fitness at any age.

From the bubbling melting pot of information, filling so quickly it seems about to overflow, we have distilled our own recipe for healthy ageing. We have served it up to you, in different courses, during the course of the book and hope you have digested at least some of it and found the message palatable.

Exercise benifits and While there are many contradictions and exceptions, and people who because of their own peculiar mix of ingredients react differently from the majority, our basic recipe is made up of the elements you see in our acronym opposite;

Fuel – the right mix to keep your body functioning on all cylinders, and to replace any deficiencies we acquire when we’ve been running for a while untended;

Exercise – the right kind to keep our hearts, lungs, muscles and joints in shape and able to continue to serve us for a long time to come:

Vocation – a sense of commitment to our job or to an interest we enjoy, not working for the pay packet alone but getting fulfillment from what we do;

Love – a vital part of the recipe, although it doesn’t have to be conventional love, Love for your neighbours, your friends, your pets, the environment, your work and your children and grandchildren are just as important as love for a partner. But love of yourself is paramount, because if you don’t love yourself you won’t be kind to yourself and will weaken your immune system.

Relationships – links to love but means staying connected with other people and involved with life and commitments, therefore having a stake in the future. Those who have natured relationships have been shown to be far healthier in later years than those who shut themselves off. But the ability to cast off ‘dead’ relationships is equally important in the Exercise benifits.

Laughter – just smiling can immeasurably boost your immune system; laughing regularly is one of the best medicines and should help to render other medicines unnecessary. Be able to laugh at yourself and at what life throws at you!

Attitude – encapsulates the others to a large degree, because a positive mental attitude will want to make you eat healthily and exercise as well as ensuring that you stay interested in what you’re doing and the world around you. This is worth more than all the anti – ageing prescriptions when it comes to staying youthful in the Exercise benifits.

‘Immortality is my short – term goal, said one delegate at an anti – ageing conference recently. We laughed. Immortality isn’t our goal in the short or long term. We just want to age actively and healthily and to be around to enjoy our children and our children’s children if we’re lucky. And we want to waste less time on worry and negative emotions and to really revel in the time we have left, however much or little that may be.
