There are many Face massage method which are given below.

Slow massage:-
This kind of a massage is done slowly by hitting and vibrating the skin. The skin is pressed lightly with the soft fleshy tips of fingers.

The process starts with a slow speed from the neck, the speed increases as it moves upwards. Stroking gives rest to the nerves and vibration is useful in subduing pain caused by massaging. Vibration is produced either by fingers or by an electric gadget, which is called ‘eyebrow massager’

Massage by pressure:
Benefits of using Face massageIn this method, pressure is applied with the fleshy tips of fingers. This is effective for removing the pouches beneath eyes.

Fast massage:-

In this method, the front half of both the palms is used to massage with speed. Massage is done with a circular motion upwards. It is a quick way to remove wrinkles.

Massage by stroking:-

Chubby cheeks are stroked with the tips of fingers. If the nose is broad, this method is used to both sides of the cheeks, from nose to temples.

Massage by pinching:

In this, the skin is held, as in pincers, between the thumb and fingers. It is effective for double chin and wrinkles of jaw.

Massage by kneading:

Hands are folded in a fist form and face is pressed as in kneading the flour. The movement is from the chin to cheeks and upwards. It is good for wrinkles.

Facial massage, Types n Methods

The arrows indicate the direction you must be working to massage your face. Facial massage revives and conditions your skin. It helps to raise your skin’s temperature, thereby improving the blood circulation. A facial massage also soothes and eases away   tensions present in the facial muscles.

A massage is necessary for all skin types. As you grow older gracefully, massage takes a prominent role. Massage done with the right techniques, helps to tone and firm up sagging muscles.

Method:

Use a hair band to tie up your hair neatly, away from your face. Apply a good cream liberally all over face and neck. Facial massage always begins at the base of your throat. Move towards the chin using fingers of one hand followed in quick succession with the fingers of the other hand. Using the first and second finger, tap all over face and neck. Press thumbs under the middle of the chin line and gently stroke outward, towards the end of the jaw line.

Push your chin gently upwards using both hands. Move upwards on either side of your mouth and work your way towards your ear lobes. Massage your nose with small, upward movements on either side of the nose. Now move towards the centre of eyebrows and move around the eye using a circular movement.

Move vertically from brows to hairline. Massage temples with slight pressure using small circular movements. Repeat this movement 4 times each. Allot extra time for problem areas like d lined forehead.
