Swimming is a complete fun, but depending on your habits, can be hazardous to your beauty efforts. Whether you swim in a pool, the ocean or a lake, it's simple to look good and have fun at the same time.
Hair can be an issue of concern for swimmers. Wear a swim cap. This may solve the problem of protecting and keeping your hair dry.
Chlorine in swimming pools can wreck your hair (especially color) so rinse it out immediately and carefully. Swimming in salt water can cause your hair dry in a nice wave, but sun can be just damaging the charm so be careful.
Spray on a leave-in conditioner with sunscreen. Comb your hair while it's wet so you don't have to fight with a tangled mess. And please don't forget hair removal along your bikini line.
Makeup. Either go makeup-free or wear a very little bit, such as mascara and lip tint. Mascara should be waterproof, and lip balm (tinted or not) should include an SPF of at least 15. If you're prone to fever blisters, the sun can bring them on, so use proper protection measures.
