The food we prefer, and all our eating patterns, are formed in childhood, when food was often used as a bartering tool, reward or punishment.

It’s important to realize that how we were brought up strongly influences our relationship with food in later life in the Breaking bad habits.

How you think is always more important than what you eat, because the right thoughts will guide you towards nourishing food. Saying you won’t eat much today because you want to lose weight will find you starving hungry.

But if you say you’re going to eat sensibly today, starting with a good breakfast, your body will respond by giving you the energy to carry you through.
