What is a whitehead?
If the plug formed by the clogged pore on an oily skin does not push to the surface but remains just below the skin, it appears as a tiny, rounded, whitish elevation. This is called a 'whitehead'. Both blackheads and whiteheads may remain in the skin for a long time and generally seen in mild cases of Cure the Acne.
I have been told that only teenagers get acne. Is this true?
No, it isn't. Acne can be experienced in childhood and later during the adult years. It is, however, more common between the years 13-18. Almost 80% of teenagers have Cure the Acne.
